Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 AM–9 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Koa Mart at (954) 366-1106; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, koamart.us.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 341 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Coconut Creek and suggests consistent service.

Coconut Creek is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Coconut Creek follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Relatively small korean market. Fresh jap-chae is good. Their ban-chan is in small containers and is decent. They also have kim-bop; didn't try it though.

We are here at least 2-3x a month! We love it here. Been coming here since they opened. They carry all our Asian Favorites, fresh, frozen and dry. We love the scallion pancakes, their frozen wagu and all their different dry noodles too! I get the seaweed bulk for my children here because it’s 16 packs for 7.99! Can’t beat the value for most of their items. Today we got 3 kinds of fresh mushrooms, Potato Noodles and lots of snacks for the kids! They also have meats! We get the short rib and fresh pork belly as well as A5 Wagu! Good for Hot Pot at home! They have a loyalty card too. Make sure you grab one because I promise you’ll be back again and again!

I visited this market for the first time today and was honestly so impressed. It’s a small place, but perfectly organized and packed with everything you’d look for in a Korean market. The cashier was super kind and even helped me choose a cold coffee β€” and wow, it was amazing. I think I’ve found my new favorite coffee; I don’t want any other now! The whole experience made me feel like I was in a convenience store in Seoul. Everything I tried exceeded my expectations, and there are so many fun Korean products to explore. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back.

My wife came across Koa Mart in Coconut Creek via social media, so we decided to take a drive and check it out. As someone from Hawaii, where Japanese culture has a significant influence, I was pleasantly surprised to find many of the cuisines I grew up with available at this establishment. Koa Mart is not just a grocery store with shelved or frozen goods; they also have a kitchen in the back that makes fantastic lunches. The dishes they offer are the very same ones I grew up with, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. It felt like a little taste of home. The young girl working up front was fantasticβ€”very friendly, respectful, and a pleasure to speak with. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of what Koa Mart has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese and Hawaiian flavors.

This is a bright, well-stocked market that’s bringing a lot of delicious flavor into the city. It’s small but it has the perfect assortment of pantry, frozen, and fresh items. They sell a lot of different soups, snacks, sakes, and the quintessential Korean beer Terra. Prices are mixed and there are really good deals to be had. Store is very clean, organized, and welcoming. Great spot to visit for Korean grocery items!
